I came in today for a quick lunch with a friend. He said the food was good here, and I believe that's a true statement. We were waited on by Juana, who was very nice and was always around. The inside is basic, but it's a home, small-town place that feels right. I ordered a chef salad and a side onion rings. The chef salad was ok. They have an in-house made bleu cheese dressing that is a bit different, kind of sweet, slightly pink. It's not bad, but I prefer regular bleu cheese dressing with the chunks. The salad was okay, kind average. The onion rings were great. Obviously frozen, they taste like onion rings from a chain burger and ice cream place that I visited recently, and they may be from the same source. I'd come back for sure.

The service was great and the food was delicious! We love their lasagna, popcorn shrimp, and their meatloaf. The macaroni salad wasn't pleasing to my son, but he has no complaints about anything else. The sweet tea was delicious, the salads are yummy. We were very pleased with this visit as usual!

The Hampton Inn personnel suggested this restaurant for good country cooking. She wasn't wrong. I had okra, pinto beans, corn, greens, side salad and sweet tea. All the food and tea were delicious. The food was hot and served promptly. Real country cooking. Karen was an outstanding server. She was friendly and quick to serve. I will definitely be back when I'm in Mt. Airy.

My dad and I eat here a lot and the food is always good! The restaurant feels like family. You walk in and see the regulars and everyone coming in is always so friendly. The employees always can put a smile on your face no matter what mood you're in, trust me. I'd definitely recommend this place. Get the #80 (chicken) with fries. It's yummy!!!

My husband and I look for local restaurants we have not yet experienced. Olympia is a well established little diner that was new to us until today. It's off our normal route but with GPS it was easy to find. Although we arrived around 2p they were quite busy. We were quickly greeted by our waitress, who by the way was exceptionally good at her job. I ordered the lasagna, which was a special for the day and my husband ordered the popcorn shrimp. The wait for food was short. I wasn't crazy about the lasagna because there was a spice in it that I really didn't care for. However, everything else was really good. We particularly noticed an older gentleman who works there. It appears that his main job is to bus tables. He not only does it with a big smile but wipes down the entire booth as well. Everyone who works there had a smile and seemed genuinely happy with their job. That's an attitude that creates an atmosphere which customers pick up quickly. They offer a great variety of food options. I'm sure we will be back soon.
